All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality. We reserve the right to not offer a refund or a shop credit.
If You Change Your Mind
If you change your mind about your purchase you can return the items to us within 28 days for a shop credit, equalling the cost of the item.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging and be in a re-sellable condition. The return postage costs are the consumer’s responsibility.
Please contact us if you wish to return a product. If unsuitable items (items we deem to be unfit for resale) are returned they will be mailed back to you at your expense.
Damaged or Faulty Products
Science Alive will accept returns and provide you with a replacement, shop credit or a refund (refunds will be provided using original payment method) where:
- The item is damaged during shipping, or
- The item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or
- The item is not fit for its intended purpose, or
- The product does not match our description.
Please notify us within 7 days of receiving any items as described above.
Science Alive provides a 6 month guarantee on all products for manufacturing defects. This does not apply to items that have been misused, mistreated or broken by the users. Please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org , if you wish to return an items.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs, for returns, are non-refundable. Please notify us at email@example.com before returning any items.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a track-able shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
